Jillian joined the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs (OPA) in October of 2019, making her the newest member of the team. Before joining the OPA and Rutgers Connection Network (RCN) Mentoring Program, she worked at the School of Arts and Sciences' (SAS) - Office of the Executive Dean as an Operations Assistant.

Jillian is passionate about people-centered work, leaning on her empathetic nature to help her serve the communities we work with. She finds helping others to be the most fulfilling aspect of her current position. Jillian is an Executive Board Member of the Sean Hanna Foundation, a pediatric non-profit cancer organization, and is also a member of the American Federation of Ramallah, Palestine. 

She is a Rutgers alumna (SAS) and graduated with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Theatre. She is currently pursuing her Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at Rutgers' Graduate School of Social Work. She hopes to follow a clinical path in her career, providing counseling services for those struggling with mental illness and addiction.
